About Cozzette

She taught herself to sew, then started a company.

Our story

Cozzette was started by a young Nigerian designer who spent a year teaching herself to sew and did an internship at Mod — and then decided that the clothes she wanted did not exist at a price her friends could pay.

That is still the whole brief: clothes girls love, at prices they can afford.

The goal
To make girls everywhere find clothes they love, or clothes of the moment, and actually be able to afford them.
The mission
To make all girls feel good in their own skin.
The motto
Pleasure in beauty

Made to order

Nothing is made in advance and nothing sits in a warehouse. When you order, your piece is cut from the bolt in your size — XS to 4XL — or, with Premium, to your own measurements. It is sewn, checked seam by seam, packed and sent: about three to five days in the workroom, then on its way.

You can watch every stage from your account: paid, cutting, sewing, quality check, packaging, on its way, delivered. Until the cutting starts you can cancel for a full refund.

The size guide

Less waste, and the numbers to prove it

Making to order is the biggest saving there is: no unsold stock, no end-of-season pile. What is left is the offcuts — the scraps every cut leaves on the table. We weigh them, keep them, and sew them into small things like scrunchies and bag linings, and the Offcuts collection.

The first figures appear here as soon as the workroom starts weighing them.

Safe for girls

Many of the people who shop here are under sixteen. They can browse, save and play, but a parent or guardian confirms before anything is bought, and fills in the delivery address themselves. No birthday year and no home address is kept on a child’s account. Exactly what we keep.

Read the journal, see pieces we have made, or say hello. Every message gets a reply within one working day.
